Embedded Software Developer – Automotive Sensors

About the role

As an Embedded Software Developer you will own early‑stage software development for automotive sensor systems, ensuring robust architecture and compliance with functional safety standards such as ISO 26262.

Key responsibilities

• Translate system and customer requirements into detailed, structured software requirements.
• Design software architecture and modules using Enterprise Architect and PlantUML.
• Develop high‑quality, MISRA‑compliant embedded C code for microcontroller‑based systems.
• Perform static code analysis (e.g., Astrée) to guarantee safety and robustness.
• Create and execute unit and integration tests with CANTATA.
• Maintain full traceability across the development lifecycle using DOORS and Jira.
• Collaborate closely with system, hardware, and testing teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in embedded software development, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Hands‑on involvement in V‑model development, especially requirements and design phases.
• Strong knowledge of embedded C programming and ISO 26262 functional safety standards.
• Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, Jira and Git.
• Good communication skills in English and a structured, analytical problem‑solving approach.
