Delivery Truck Driver

About the role

Steel and Pipes is looking for a responsible and dependable Delivery Truck Driver to support daily transportation and logistics operations across Puerto Rico. This full‑time, on‑site role involves receiving merchandise, loading and securing it, and delivering products to various destinations.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a company truck and transport merchandise throughout Puerto Rico.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload goods while ensuring safety.
• Verify orders before departure and confirm receipt at each destination.
• Handle delivery documentation such as purchase orders, receiving documents, and signatures.
• Communicate any delays or issues to the logistics and operations team.
• Perform basic pre‑ and post‑route truck inspections and report any issues.
• Maintain the truck in a clean and organized condition and follow all safety procedures and traffic regulations.

Required profile

• Valid Puerto Rico driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle.
• Clean and responsible driving record.
• Experience with delivery or commercial trucks preferred.
• Familiarity with Puerto Rico road networks is a plus.
• Responsible, punctual, organized, and dependable.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with warehouse, logistics, and receiving personnel.

Required skills

• Ability to safely load, unload, and handle merchandise.
• Capability to understand and manage purchase orders and delivery receipts.
