Data Technical Lead

About the role

Decskill is seeking a Data Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines and AI solutions. You will work within a multinational Agile team, delivering high‑quality software that powers our clients' digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, refactor, and optimise Python and PySpark applications.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and Machine Learning workflows using Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Design, develop and support Generative AI solutions with OpenAI APIs, LangChain, LangGraph and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation architectures.
• Create single‑agent and multi‑agent AI solutions, including document indexing and vector‑database integrations.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrate them with internal and external systems.
• Manage deployment of applications, pipelines and ML models across development, testing and production environments.
• Perform code reviews, automated testing, troubleshooting, log analysis and continuous quality improvement using GitHub, pytest and SonarQube.
• Maintain technical documentation, manage technical‑debt backlog and support infrastructure change requests.

Required profile

• Up to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with Python, PySpark, Databricks and Azure cloud services.
• Experience building and maintaining Machine Learning models and pipelines.
• Practical knowledge of Generative AI technologies and vector‑database concepts.
