Cybersecurity Expert

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Expert to join our team in Porto. The role focuses on strengthening our security posture through governance, risk management and incident handling across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor cybersecurity policies and controls.
• Monitor vulnerabilities, data breaches and suspicious activities on endpoints, email and access systems.
• Investigate incidents, lead response actions and coordinate remediation.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery, remediation and business continuity plans.
• Promote security best‑practice within project teams and across the company.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in governance, compliance, risk or DLP within cybersecurity projects.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Mid‑level professional able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Governance, compliance and risk management.
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP) implementation.
• Vulnerability monitoring and endpoint security.
• Incident investigation and response.
• Disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Knowledge of ISO 27000, ISO 31000, ISO 22000 standards.
• Familiarity with NIST, COBIT, NIS2 frameworks.
