Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our security team. The role focuses on cryptography‑related activities, digital certificates, digital signatures, TLS, key management and system hardening across both Linux and Windows environments. The position is hybrid, with three days per week on‑site at either Alfragide or Viseu.

Key responsibilities

• Support cryptography operations and manage cryptographic keys.
• Troubleshoot issues related to digital certificates, digital signatures, TLS and key management.
• Contribute to broader cybersecurity initiatives within the security area.
• Perform system hardening for Linux and Windows platforms.
• Use scripting and programming to automate tasks, resolve incidents and improve security processes.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with cryptography and cryptographic key management.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and security standards.
• Proven experience working in Linux and Windows environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot certificate, signature, TLS and key management problems.
• Basic conversational English skills.
