BI Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a BI Specialist who treats data as a product and helps the business make decisions based on reliable, well‑modeled metrics. You will own the analytical layer of our data platform, turning raw data into trusted datasets and delivering insights that leadership actually uses.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain BI solutions including reports, dashboards and data models that support operational and strategic decision‑making.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data models and meaningful visualisations.
• Build and optimise ETL/ELT processes to ensure reliable and timely data availability.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to improve data quality, performance and architecture.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs and maintain consistent metric definitions.
• Enhance existing reporting solutions focusing on usability, performance and maintainability.
• Support data‑governance practices and maintain documentation standards.
• Troubleshoot data issues and proactively identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a BI Developer, Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer or a similar role.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Strong SQL proficiency and experience with relational databases.
• Data modelling (star schema, snowflake, dimensional modelling).
• Building interactive dashboards with Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
• Designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud (optional).
• Knowledge of data‑warehousing principles and best practices.
• Version control using Git.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
