AWS Administrator (100% remote)

About the role

Solutions30 is seeking an experienced AWS Administrator to join our fully remote team. You will be responsible for designing, deploying and managing AWS infrastructure while ensuring security, cost‑efficiency and high availability across our European operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and administer AWS services such as EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, Route53 and CloudWatch.
• Provision, manage and optimise production Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, including networking, RBAC and scaling.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and manage cloud spend.
• Lead data‑centre to AWS migrations, reducing footprint and expenses.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor external Managed Service Providers and enforce NIS2/ISO 27001 security controls.
• Develop observability solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch and Graylog.
• Maintain and test Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to embed DevSecOps practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on AWS experience in production environments.
• Proven Kubernetes administration experience (cluster provisioning, networking, RBAC, storage).
• Strong Linux systems administration skills.
• Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible for automation.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, DNS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins or equivalent) and scripting in Python or Bash.
• Knowledge of NIS2 and ISO 27001 security requirements.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
