About the role

The Pestana Viking Hotel in the Algarve region is looking for a motivated Assistant Head Waiter to support the restaurant and bar teams. You will play a key part in delivering high‑quality service and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and manage restaurant and bar operations, ensuring standards are met.
Welcome guests, provide assistance, and address any service issues promptly.
Maintain and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all service areas.
Coordinate staff schedules and support the Head Waiter in training and performance monitoring.

Required profile

Minimum of 2 years experience in Food & Beverage within the hospitality sector.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Guest‑oriented, quality‑focused and a strong team player.
