Assembly Operator – Manufacturing Production

About the role

The Assembly Operator works on assigned assembly stations to ensure that products are built to specification while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The role requires close collaboration with supervisors and group leaders to maintain quality, safety, and production flow.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assembly tasks at designated stations, following detailed work instructions.
• Stop production at the workstation if material, assembly, or process concerns arise.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, One Piece Flow, 5S, and Kanban inventory systems.
• Verify product quality and correct packaging, completing required labels and paperwork.
• Report any production issues to supervisors and group leaders promptly.
• Follow all safety policies, wear required safety equipment, and uphold Viant core values.

Required profile

• Ability to read and comprehend simple written and diagrammatic instructions.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Physical capability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, lift up to 50 lb, and use hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving in standardized situations.
