Aeronautical Engineer – Design & Simulation Integration

About the role

We are looking for an Aeronautical Engineer who will bridge aircraft design and engineering tools at TEKEVER. You will help shape new UAV configurations while refining the digital simulation framework that validates them.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on conceptual and preliminary design of UAV configurations, performing sizing and trade‑off studies.
• Develop, tune and validate flight models and support system identification to ensure digital models reflect real‑world behaviour.
• Run mission and stability analyses, automate performance calculations, flight load estimations and data processing.
• Maintain and improve internal engineering tools used for design and simulation.
• Translate theoretical designs into physical prototypes using 3D printing or composite manufacturing and support flight‑test campaigns.

Required profile

• Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–6 years of experience in aircraft design, simulation or performance analysis.
• Strong understanding of aerodynamics and flight dynamics.
• Hands‑on attitude, able to prototype and work with complex data sets.

Required skills

• Python scripting for automation and data processing.
• Proficiency in CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks.
• Fundamental knowledge of aerodynamics and flight dynamics.
