Senior HR Generalist - Grande Porto

About the role

We are seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support a fast‑growing multinational industrial company operating in the Greater Porto area. The role will drive HR processes across the plant, ensuring compliance, employee engagement and effective talent management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee relations and ensure compliance with company policies and Portuguese employment law.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and training programmes for new hires.
• Implement and monitor organisational development and performance‑management initiatives.
• Ensure health and safety regulations and workplace standards are met.
• Maintain and update the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and generate HR reports, metrics and workforce data analysis.
• Support managers on employee‑relations and people‑management matters.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar HR role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese employment legislation.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities related to people management.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
