IT Manager

About the role

The IT Manager leads the planning, implementation, and maintenance of technology systems that support the organization’s operational and strategic objectives. This position ensures reliable IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and seamless communication across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce IT policies for data backup, security, availability, and disaster recovery.
• Assess technology needs and recommend effective solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate proposals for telecom, software, hardware, and services.
• Oversee development and maintenance of information systems and telecommunications platforms.
• Lead infrastructure and system implementation projects with internal and external teams.
• Present technology initiatives and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Plan, administer, and optimize departmental budgets and resources.
• Establish preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for IT assets.
• Supervise IT staff and external contractors as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in IT management or a comparable leadership role.
• Strong strategic planning, analytical thinking, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and confidentiality skills.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
