Associate Attorney

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes for our clients. The role involves drafting agreements, negotiating contracts, setting claims, and representing clients in court while building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage litigation from answer through discovery, trial preparation and trial.
• Develop and negotiate agreements and contracts on behalf of clients.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal reports and documents.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships, providing excellent customer experience.
• Advocate for clients in court and handle commercial, trademark, distribution, antitrust, employment and contractual disputes.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor degree.
• 8‑12 years of experience as an attorney, preferably in commercial litigation and related areas.
• Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
• Bar admissions: Notarial Practice Bar, local bar, and federal bar.
• Proficient written and oral communication in English and Spanish.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Experience using Tabs3.
• Familiarity with case management platforms.
