Workforce Data Specialist - French Speaker

About the role

AstraZeneca is seeking a Workforce Data Specialist who is fluent in French, Portuguese and English to join its fast‑paced Regional HR Centre. The role bridges HR and IT, ensuring accurate workforce administration, high‑quality data management and support for recruitment activities across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of employee data in Workday, including promotions, demotions, lateral moves and fixed‑term contract extensions.
• Validate changes with appropriate approvals and maintain complete documentation.
• Collaborate with in‑country HR teams on affiliate transfers, contract generation and manual payroll/benefits support.
• Perform regular data quality checks, maintain error lists and proactively resolve data gaps with local stakeholders.
• Identify and drive continuous‑improvement opportunities, partnering with Global Process Owners to streamline processes and enhance technology usage.

Required profile

• Fluent in French, Portuguese and English.
• Keen attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work efficiently in a matrixed environment.
• Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to support other HR teams within the Regional Centre as needed.

Required skills

• Workday HR system experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with case‑management, telephony and online user portal technologies.
• ServiceNow experience (desirable).
