Senior Litigation Counsel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Counsel to lead and oversee complex multi‑jurisdictional disputes across commercial litigation, international arbitration, and financial recovery matters. The successful candidate will manage all phases of litigation, from discovery to trial, while collaborating with local advisors and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead significant multi‑jurisdictional disputes, including commercial litigation, international arbitration, and financial recovery.
• Prepare and submit pleadings, motions, and other legal filings in key jurisdictions such as the UAE, UK, EU, and Hong Kong.
• Oversee discovery, depositions, e‑discovery processes, and comprehensive document reviews.
• Coordinate with local legal advisors to ensure seamless case execution and maintain meticulous case files.
• Draft legal memoranda, briefs, and internal advisory notes; support settlement discussions and ADR initiatives.
• Update litigation calendars, manage case management systems, and collaborate with expert witnesses.
• Monitor legislative and judicial updates, develop litigation strategies, and contribute to best‑practice evolution.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a recognised law school and a valid license to practice law.
• 7‑10 years of hands‑on litigation or dispute‑resolution experience.
• Exceptional analytical, research, and written communication abilities.
• Deep understanding of civil procedure, evidence rules, and court protocols.
• Proven ability to manage multiple high‑priority cases and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with e‑discovery tools and litigation support software.
• Practical experience using Google Workspace, Notion, and large language models (LLMs).
