Senior Director, Talent Acquisition

About the role

This senior leadership position is responsible for shaping and executing recruitment strategy across the EMEA region. The role is fully remote within Europe and involves close collaboration with HR leaders, business stakeholders, and global talent acquisition teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the centralized EMEA Talent Acquisition team, overseeing sourcing, recruitment, onboarding and budget ownership.
• Develop, coach and strengthen a high‑performing TA organization through learning initiatives and capability programs.
• Partner with global TA leadership on cross‑regional projects, recruitment transformation and best‑practice alignment.
• Oversee implementation and optimisation of recruitment technologies, applicant tracking systems and automation tools.
• Manage vendor and agency relationships, including selection, contract negotiation and cost optimisation.
• Create and maintain recruitment policies, compliance frameworks and hiring guidelines.
• Drive employer branding, EVP initiatives and innovative sourcing strategies for hard‑to‑fill roles.
• Leverage recruitment analytics and market intelligence to improve hiring quality and efficiency.
• Support hiring managers and recruiters with effective methodologies, assessments and selection techniques.
• Lead early‑career recruitment and university partnership programmes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources, or a Master’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven senior leadership experience in a large, international TA function.
• Strong ability to influence stakeholders and drive data‑driven decision making.
