HR Assistant – Hybrid (French & English)

About the role
We are expanding our HR operations in Portugal and need a structured, reliable HR Assistant who can handle both administrative tasks and early‑stage recruitment. The role is hybrid, allowing you to work both on‑site and remotely while supporting HR stakeholders from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, manage and amend employment contracts.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including welcome emails, contracts and annexes.
- Prepare employment certificates, attestations and track employee milestones.
- Provide general HR administrative support and maintain accurate documentation.
- Write job descriptions, publish ads and perform CV screening.
- Source candidates via LinkedIn and job boards, conduct phone pre‑screenings and schedule interviews.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of experience in HR administration or recruitment support.
- Strong written communication in French and English.
- High level of rigor, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Self‑motivated and comfortable working autonomously in a hybrid environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn for candidate sourcing.
- Experience with JobUp (valued).
