GBS Account & Sales Operations Specialist (French Speaker) – 18‑Month Contract

About the role

This temporary position supports the Account Operations function, ensuring high‑quality service for assigned customers across the channel. The specialist will act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, handling order‑related queries, analyses, and operational issues while maintaining a strong focus on French‑language communication.

Key responsibilities

• Provide account operations support to assigned customers via email, tickets and phone.
• Deliver order and product information, and prepare order‑related analyses on request.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Order Fulfilment and other departments on returns, complaints, scheduled deliveries, cancellations, launches, promotions and procurement.
• Monitor credit‑blocked orders and coordinate credit limit increases with Finance and Sales.
• Manage the order book, prioritize deliveries, verify electronic receipts and correct errors using provided tools.
• Track carrier and parcel deliveries and ensure timely, complete delivery.
• Stand in for colleagues within Accounts & Sales Operations and support direct management with analysis, problem‑solving and process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills in English and French.
• 2+ years of experience in customer support, sales or logistics.
• Completed mandatory education or vocational studies; a bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle conflicting priorities.
• Proactive, autonomous, and capable of contributing to a team‑focused environment.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Experience with SAP/CRM systems.
• Familiarity with Business Objects for reporting and analysis.
