Buyer – Handbags (Fashion)

About the role

As a Handbag Buyer you will join Parfois’ Head Office in Porto, collaborating closely with designers, merchandisers and other buyers to develop new collections for global markets. You will be responsible for spotting trends, negotiating with suppliers and ensuring timely delivery of products that meet the brand’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Buying Direction in creating future collections and verify product samples against specifications.
• Analyse fashion trends and category sales data to provide insights for product development.
• Search for, negotiate with and manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring on‑time delivery.
• Monitor daily sales, stock and budget reports and take actions to improve product performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Fashion or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a buying role.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong knowledge of the fashion industry, markets, materials and composition.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Organised, pragmatic and proactive attitude.
