Technical Support Engineer – Automotive

About the role

MORO TECH is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide Level 2 technical assistance across multiple European automotive platforms. You will act as the primary escalation point between Level 1 teams and OEM support lines, ensuring complex cases are investigated, resolved, and documented efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Level 2 technical support for European automotive support platforms, handling cases from intake to resolution.
• Filter, verify, and own support cases end‑to‑end, aiming for First Contact Resolution whenever possible.
• Collaborate with Level 1 support to clarify case scope and coordinate escalations to OEM diagnostic tools or technical publications.
• Monitor performance metrics, ensure SLA compliance, and produce regular performance reports for management.
• Facilitate clear communication across teams and external entities to streamline issue resolution.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and contribute to continuous improvement by updating training materials and best‑practice documentation.
• Support testing activities to validate communication between vehicles and diagnostic tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical or customer support, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, IT or related field).
• Strong diagnostic expertise and ability to work with technical tools and support platforms.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft O365 suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Experience using automotive diagnostic tools and support platforms.
