Team Lead GBS HR Services (Mobility)

About the role

The Team Lead GBS HR Services – Mobility Operations is responsible for day‑to‑day operational leadership of EMEA mobility services. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Mobility Operations, the role ensures high‑quality, compliant delivery of relocations, assignments, immigration and tax coordination while fostering a performance‑driven team culture.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end execution of EMEA mobility operations in line with global policies, SLAs and regulatory requirements.
• Act as first‑level escalation point for complex or sensitive mobility cases and resolve issues or route them to senior management.
• Monitor service quality, cycle times and backlog to maintain stable, predictable delivery.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Mobility Specialists, setting performance goals, KPIs and conducting regular reviews.
• Drive onboarding, upskilling and knowledge sharing to build operational resilience.
• Serve as primary operational interface for HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Rewards, Payroll, Finance and Legal.
• Collaborate with the Global Mobility COE and external vendors on operational topics and service issues.
• Ensure compliance with immigration, tax, labour law and internal audit requirements, and support audit readiness.
• Identify and implement process improvements, standardisation and automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading mobility or HR service delivery teams in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of relocation, assignment, immigration and tax coordination processes.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across HR, finance, legal and external providers.
• Demonstrated capability to ensure compliance with regulatory and audit standards.
• Track record of driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
