Software Engineer – Warehouse Management Systems

About the role

Join the Körber Supply Chain team as a Software Engineer focused on developing and implementing Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions for automated warehouses. You will work on both front‑end and back‑end components, ensuring seamless integration with logistics equipment and external systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front‑end interfaces and APIs using C#, ASP.NET and JavaScript.
• Write and optimise database logic in T‑SQL (SQL Server) and PL‑SQL (Oracle).
• Configure system components such as communication drivers, layout mapping, and storage capacity settings.
• Perform testing and debugging, leveraging test‑automation tools where possible.
• Produce technical documentation and user manuals.
• Execute on‑site software installations, integrate with web services, TCP/IP and DataLink interfaces, and provide user support.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong programming experience with C# and SQL Server or Oracle.
• Familiarity with ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS and related web technologies is a plus.
• Experience in software testing and documentation.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Proactive team player with strong organisational skills.
