Software Developer - C++ / Python Industrial Applications

About the role

As a Software Developer you will design, implement and maintain high‑performance software solutions for industrial machines and automation platforms, using C++ as the core language and Python where appropriate.

Key responsibilities

• Develop robust and scalable C++ applications for industrial equipment.
• Design and implement software components following modern programming principles, including Python modules.
• Translate technical requirements into efficient, maintainable software architectures.
• Integrate software modules with machine control systems and hardware environments.
• Debug, troubleshoot and continuously optimise existing solutions.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical and project‑management teams.
• Support commissioning activities remotely and on‑site as needed.
• Optionally contribute to PLC programming (Siemens S7 / TIA Portal) for automation systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience in C++ development and Python programming.
• Proven ability in object‑oriented design and software architecture.
• Analytical mindset with a structured, solution‑oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 25%).
