Senior International Tax & Transaction Services (Lisbon/Porto)

About the role

EY is seeking a motivated Senior professional to join its International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) team in Portugal. You will help multinational clients align their global tax position with business strategy, supporting transactions and providing advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in tax due‑diligence projects covering Portuguese taxes.
• Conduct tax diagnostics for various Portuguese tax obligations.
• Provide tax advisory during transaction processes, including structuring investments and divestments.
• Review tax aspects of financial models and assess tax implications of transaction documents such as Sale and Purchase Agreements and Warranty & Indemnity agreements.
• Manage cross‑border transaction teams.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Economics, Law, Tax, Accounting or a related financial field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Tax and Transaction Services.
• Willingness to focus on international law and taxation.
• Ability to work on multicultural projects and environments.
• Full proficiency in English.
• Availability to work in Portugal and potentially abroad.
