Senior Brand Designer (Freelance) – Remote, Portugal

About the role

We are seeking a Freelance Senior Brand Designer based in Portugal to shape and scale a fast‑growing financial product brand. You will work at the intersection of brand, marketing and growth, turning strategic goals into high‑impact visual systems and creative assets that drive acquisition, conversion and product storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve brand design across growth, marketing, content and product‑adjacent initiatives.
• Create assets for product launches, campaigns, paid ads, social media, email, landing pages, YouTube thumbnails and event kits.
• Build and maintain scalable brand systems, including Figma templates, reusable components, iconography, illustration styles, motion guidelines and layout systems.
• Develop and update brand guidelines and documentation to ensure consistency across teams.
• Support Growth, Marketing and Content teams by enabling high reuse of design systems and accelerating asset production.
• Contribute to campaign concepts and creative direction, linking design decisions to performance outcomes.
• Leverage AI tools to prototype, iterate and speed up creative workflows.
• Manage timelines, feedback cycles and deliverables under tight deadlines.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in brand design, preferably in high‑growth startups or leading design studios.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual excellence, brand systems and multi‑channel execution.
• Deep understanding of how brand, marketing, messaging and copy work together.
• Proven ability to connect creative decisions to business outcomes such as acquisition and conversion.
• Comfortable working independently, interpreting briefs and proactively proposing creative directions.
