Security Engineer (SOC)

About the role

We are looking for a Security Engineer (SOC) to join one of our biggest clients, a mission‑critical IT and security services provider. The position offers the chance to work on real security incidents and help improve the security posture of multiple environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze incoming security alerts from tools such as EDR, NDR, and SIEM.
• Identify genuine security threats and differentiate them from false positives.
• Perform basic alert enrichment to gather relevant technical context.
• Document findings clearly and consistently, ensuring high‑quality incident records.
• Escalate relevant incidents to senior analysts in a timely and structured manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to improve overall security posture.

Required profile

• Background in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience in a SOC or similar security operations environment.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts such as alerts, logs, incidents, and compliance.
• Strong attention to detail, structured mindset, and clear communication skills.
• Fluent in English (internal working language).
