Operations Auditor (Internal Audit)

About the role

Revolut is seeking a motivated Internal Auditor to join its Audit team, focusing on operations, technology, payments and operational resilience within a fast‑growing fintech environment. You will work closely with Risk and Compliance to design, execute and report on internal audits that protect the business and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional Internal Audit heads to audit processes and controls across financial crime, operations, technology and financial risk domains.
• Deliver 3+ end‑to‑end internal audits within six months, including scoping, risk and control assessment, and reporting findings and management actions.
• Formalise deliverables in line with Revolut’s audit methodologies, templates and procedures.
• Engage with stakeholders to stay informed of business priorities and changes that affect audit risk assessments.
• Validate completion of management actions related to prior audit findings against agreed success criteria.
• Utilise data analytics to understand risks, test controls, identify inefficiencies and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure the control framework complies with relevant regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in an audit‑related role, preferably within banking, financial services or another regulated environment.
• Proactive problem‑solving ability and comfort operating independently amid ambiguity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A genuine interest in learning Revolut’s product suite and value proposition.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience using SAS for statistical analysis.
• Programming skills in Python.
• Ability to work with R for data analytics.
