Head of Payments

About the role

GoMining is seeking a Head of Payments to own and scale its global payments function. You will shape strategy, build infrastructure, and drive commercial performance across multiple markets and payment methods.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute GoMining’s global payment strategy and roadmap.
• Design a scalable payments infrastructure supporting fiat and crypto flows.
• Negotiate and manage relationships with PSPs, acquirers, banks, crypto processors and alternative providers.
• Optimize conversion, cost, risk and user experience while monitoring approval, decline, chargeback and conversion metrics.
• Oversee settlement, reconciliation, refunds and dispute processes.
• Lead compliance initiatives with legal on KYC, AML, PCI DSS and fraud prevention.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, Analytics and Engineering teams and potentially build a payments team.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in payments, fintech or financial services.
• Proven track record managing international payment flows and multi‑market operations.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience negotiating provider contracts.
• Analytical mindset with ability to improve payment economics and performance.
