Logistic Technician (M/F) – Procurement & Transportation

About the role

We are looking for a Logistic Technician to ensure the efficient, cost‑effective procurement of goods, services and materials. The role supports operational continuity by managing transportation contracts, customs documentation and supply‑chain flow.

Key responsibilities

• Source, compare rates and negotiate contracts with freight forwarders for land, sea and air transport.
• Prepare and validate customs and commercial documentation for intra‑EU and non‑EU shipments.
• Manage purchase order pickups, sample shipments and resolve logistics issues.
• Provide customers with real‑time updates on production status, shipping forecasts and delivery dates.
• Monitor delivery deadlines, quantities and technical specifications.
• Research, evaluate and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers.
• Track orders, deliveries and invoices to ensure alignment with contracts.
• Identify risks or deviations in the supply chain and implement corrective actions.
• Support production planning and logistics to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
• Coordinate with finance to ensure correct invoicing and payments.

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics, Production Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, procurement or transportation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset.

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Knowledge of international trade, taxation and logistics regulations.
• Negotiation and purchasing techniques.
• Quotation, bidding and contract management processes.
