Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join Check Point Software Technologies’ global legal team. The role is fully remote from Portugal and focuses on supporting the company’s sales, product and corporate activities by managing the full contract lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the contracting cycle for sales agreements and other commercial contracts, including standard and customer‑specific terms.
• Negotiate directly with distributors, vendors and other external parties.
• Collaborate with business leaders across Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, HR and Product to identify and mitigate legal risks.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Provide legal advice on dispute resolution, purchasing, employment and corporate matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a technology or software environment.
• Proven experience supporting sales teams and handling commercial contracts.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Solid contract drafting and negotiation abilities.
