Junior Controller

About the role

We are a growing Portuguese premium brand seeking a Junior Controller to join our finance team in Lisbon. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the management team by providing data‑driven insights, margin analysis, and comprehensive business reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular reconciliations.
• Track budgets, prepare periodic financial reports, and assist with internal and external audits.
• Monitor the company’s financial health and highlight key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with management to optimise processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Support strategic decision‑making through timely and accurate data analysis.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
• Familiarity with bookkeeping, accounts receivable/payable, and financial reconciliations.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a similar role or a finance internship is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
