IT Help Desk Support for NATO (Security Clearance Required)

About the role

The role provides first‑ and second‑level IT support for Windows client systems used by STRIKFORNATO Headquarters, the NATO Lessons Learned Portal and the NCI Academy in Oeiras, Portugal. The Contractor will ensure optimal performance, security and reliability of the environment while delivering end‑user assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑ and second‑level support for Windows desktops, laptops and related peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy and Windows Update processes.
• Deploy Windows baselines, applications and patches using SCCM/Configuration Manager.
• Provide remote desktop assistance and support virtualization environments.
• Maintain IT service quality by improving user satisfaction and reducing response times.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience supporting end‑user devices, hardware and software.
• Proven experience as a Windows system administrator.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and Windows Update management.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT service management tools.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator (preferred).
