IT Help Desk Service

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Help Desk professional to provide first‑line support to end users in Oeiras, Portugal. You will be responsible for maintaining hardware, software and network functionality while ensuring compliance with NATO security policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support for Windows client devices, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
• Manage Active Directory accounts, Group Policy objects and Windows Update deployments.
• Deploy operating system baselines, applications and patches using SCCM/Configuration Manager.
• Utilise ITSM tools to log, track and resolve incidents according to ITIL processes.
• Escalate blocking issues promptly and adhere to SLA agreements.
• Support remote desktop sessions and virtualised environments.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience supporting end‑user IT devices.
• Proven experience as a system administrator for Windows clients.
• Knowledge of NATO Secret clearance requirements and ability to work in a secure environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.
