Human Resources Manager

About the role

Velox Electro Europe is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for its Leiria office. You will be responsible for the full HR lifecycle and will partner with the business on strategic and operational initiatives across a fast‑growing international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies, procedures and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, off‑boarding and cross‑border postings.
• Ensure compliance with Portuguese employment legislation, EU regulations and company policies, including equal treatment and equal pay.
• Coordinate with external advisors, authorities and stakeholders on immigration, social security and posting matters.
• Maintain accurate employment contracts, HR documentation and employee records.
• Support working‑time, sickness absence, leave and other employment‑law matters.
• Provide HR reporting and people metrics to management.
• Foster a professional, compliant and positive working environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
• Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably in an international or fast‑growing organization.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR compliance.
• Experience with international employee assignments and cross‑border employment matters.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of HR systems and databases.
