Groups & Events Coordinator – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

Martinhal Lisbon Oriente is seeking a proactive Groups & Events Coordinator to manage group and event requests, coordinate logistics, and deliver a seamless, professional experience from first contact to event completion.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities through networking, databases and referrals.
• Manage group and event inquiries, preparing proposals, quotations and follow‑ups.
• Coordinate reservations, availability and room allocation.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure flawless execution.
• Maintain client communication before, during and after events.
• Support site inspections, group arrangements and on‑site events.
• Monitor deadlines, special requests and operational requirements.
• Keep the group and event pipeline information up to date.
• Support invoicing, reporting and final event closure.

Required profile

• Experience in events, groups, hospitality or reservations.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving capability.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
