Global Procurement Controller

About the role

As a member of the Global Finance team, the Global Procurement Controller provides financial support to improve profitability and drives continuous productivity improvements across regional and global procurement functions. The role partners closely with procurement leaders, forecasts spend, reports performance, and ensures robust financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with regional and global procurement management to deliver financial insights.
• Own quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic plans for direct material spend and productivity.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages, analyse variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support and approve TEBIT projects related to material productivity and act as the financial contact.
• Lead communication and support for internal or external audit visits concerning procurement activities.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Develop new internal processes and analytical reports to improve information sharing.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial and operational performance through forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to improve process controls and procedures.
• Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple, varied projects.
• Comfortable navigating a matrix reporting structure and changing environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
