About the role
We are seeking an experienced E‑commerce Director to lead the digital growth of a fast‑expanding luxury consumer brand. Based in Portugal, you will shape the global online strategy, drive revenue, and ensure a premium, seamless customer journey across all digital touchpoints.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the global e‑commerce strategy, targeting revenue growth and profitability.
- Design and manage customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty programs to boost lifetime value.
- Optimize the online experience through personalization, storytelling, merchandising, and omnichannel integration.
- Monitor and act on performance metrics such as conversion rate, CAC, AOV, and LTV.
- Lead CRM initiatives, including email and SMS campaigns, segmentation, and post‑purchase engagement.
- Coordinate external agencies and contractors across paid media, content, influencer marketing, SEO, and other digital channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and adapt experiences to local market nuances.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years in a senior e‑commerce leadership role, preferably within luxury or premium consumer brands.
- Proven track record of driving online revenue growth at an international level.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in performance analytics and CRO.
- Ability to manage agencies and contractors using KPI‑based frameworks.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
