Customs Forwarding Management Administrator (Lisbon)

About the role

CEVA Logistics Portugal is looking for a dedicated Forwarding Management Administrator to support its Customs Brokerage Compliance and Fiscal Representation team in Lisbon. You will ensure smooth, compliant customs and forwarding operations for our clients while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customs forwarding procedures and ensure timely, compliant documentation for imports, exports and transit shipments.
• Act as liaison between customs authorities, clients and internal departments to guarantee accurate customs declarations and fiscal reporting.
• Monitor and apply local and international customs regulations, keeping the team informed of legislative changes.
• Coordinate with Customs Brokerage Compliance and Fiscal Representation teams to resolve clearance and forwarding issues.
• Maintain precise records and reports on freight forwarding, customs brokerage and fiscal representation activities.
• Support process improvements and implement best practices for operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and review documents such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists and export licences.
• Provide administrative support, including correspondence, contract management and audit response.
• Collaborate with logistics, shipping and compliance teams to ensure seamless freight forwarding and customs clearance.

Required profile

• Experience in customs forwarding management, preferably within logistics or freight forwarding.
• Understanding of customs regulations, import/export controls and transport logistics in Portugal and the EU.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑departmental and external collaboration.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Adaptability to changing regulatory environments while maintaining compliance under pressure.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken.
• Motivated, proactive and solution‑driven attitude.
