Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

About the role

Jobbex is seeking a senior leader to define and drive the cybersecurity strategy for one of its key clients. The Chief Information Security Officer will shape security governance, manage risk, and ensure compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the overall cybersecurity strategy, governance framework, and risk management processes.
• Oversee enterprise security operations, including SOC/SIEM, identity and access management, and incident response.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2 and manage the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and related audits.
• Lead security due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other corporate transactions.
• Approve security architecture decisions and advise business leaders on risk implications.
• Report security posture and metrics to executive leadership.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role such as CISO or Head of Security.
• Proven experience in security aspects of M&A and organizational separations.
• Strong executive‑level communication skills and ability to translate technical risk into business language.
• Fluent English.
