Buyer – Procurement

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Buyer to manage day‑to‑day purchasing activities for our HVAC, refrigeration and cold‑chain solutions. You will ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time, maintain strong vendor relationships, and support the planning and warehouse teams to minimise shortages.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing activities, creating and following up Purchase Orders with vendors.
• Maintain regular communication with vendors regarding deliveries, order confirmations, delays and operational issues.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times and commercial conditions for both new and existing components.
• Request, compare and evaluate quotations, monitor price evolution and identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Support vendor relationship management and escalate critical issues when needed.
• Collaborate with Planning and Warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
• Assist the Quality team on non‑conformities, claims and vendor documentation.
• Maintain and update ERP data (pricing, lead times, vendor information, purchasing conditions).
• Track procurement KPIs and contribute to reporting activities.
• Monitor inventory parameters such as lead times, stock levels, MOQs and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Ability to work collaboratively across different teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supply‑chain roles.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, SAP or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Power BI.
