Auditor – Financial & Operational Audit (Porto/Lisbon)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Auditor to join our finance team in Portugal. The role focuses on conducting financial and operational audits for our corporate and investment banking activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit engagements covering financial products such as shares, loans, bonds, commodities, derivatives and repos.
• Apply audit methodology and IFRS standards to assess the accuracy of financial statements.
• Analyse operational processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and control.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management.

Required profile

• Degree in Bank Accounting, Audit, Management or a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of professional audit experience, preferably in a banking environment.
• Strong understanding of corporate and investment banking products and activities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, including PowerQuery and PowerPivot.
• Data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI and Easymorph.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS standards and audit methodology.
