Head of Shared Services Center

About the role

This senior leadership position is responsible for directing a Shared Services Center that supports multiple European countries within a complex multinational environment. The role blends strategic oversight with hands‑on operational involvement, focusing on stabilising the organisation, strengthening processes and preparing the centre for future growth and transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee overall performance of the Shared Services Center.
• Ensure stabilisation and continuous improvement of processes and operations.
• Manage and engage senior stakeholders across multiple countries.
• Drive transformation initiatives, including systems and process enhancements.
• Build, develop and retain high‑performing teams.
• Provide hands‑on support for operational activities when required.
• Operate effectively in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance within shared services or similar environments.
• Proven leadership experience with responsibility for managing teams.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and transformation projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational execution.
• Experience working in international, complex settings.
• High adaptability and resilience in changing environments.
