Workday Time Tracking & Absence Specialist

About the role

Join ALEBS, the HR Digital Solutions Center of Expertise, as a Workday Time Tracking & Absence Specialist. You will lead configuration, optimization and global administration of Workday Time & Absence modules for EAMEI and APAC regions, ensuring efficient payroll outcomes worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Build, configure and maintain Workday Absence Plans, Time Entry Templates, Time Calculations, Eligibility Rules, Accrual Calculations, Calculated Fields and Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs).
• Collaborate with GBS teams, Integration Engineers, HR Business Partners and global stakeholders to align business requirements with Workday solutions.
• Drive implementation, release updates and enhancement projects across Workday Time Tracking, Absence and Payroll integration workflows.
• Provide tier‑2/3 support for HR ticket escalations and lead UAT, regression testing and quality assurance for configuration enhancements.
• Identify process bottlenecks, automate Workday processes and document knowledge for stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience configuring and supporting Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management in a global corporate environment.
• Proven ability to manage complex payroll mapping configurations and ensure compliance.
• Official Workday Pro or Partner Certification in Time Tracking/Absence Management is strongly preferred.
• Project management experience and strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Workday configuration (Absence Plans, Time Entry Templates, Calculated Fields, Condition Rules, Accrual Calculations).
• Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) development.
• Workday Payroll integration support.
• Advanced knowledge of Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management modules.
