Wind Turbine Mould Installation Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Wind Turbine Mould Installation Technician to join our team in Aveiro, Portugal. You will work on the installation, assembly, alignment and commissioning of blade moulds and related tooling for wind turbine blade production, supporting projects across Europe and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Install and assemble wind turbine blade moulds and associated tooling systems on site.
• Position mould sections using cranes, lifting equipment and rigging tools, ensuring precise alignment and dimensional accuracy.
• Perform mould leveling, shimming, and adjustment activities to meet engineering specifications.
• Assemble mould hardware, closing systems and support structures, and assist with commissioning and production readiness.
• Conduct functional checks of vacuum, heating, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Inspect installations for defects or misalignment, troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide maintenance support and relocate moulds as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mould installation or similar heavy‑equipment assembly within the wind or composite industry.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work on multiple sites across Europe.
• Strong attention to safety, quality and technical detail.
