Web3 Developer

About the role

Bitrefill is looking for a Web3 Developer passionate about crypto and cutting‑edge web3 technology. You will help build and optimise crypto payment solutions, working closely with backend, frontend and design teams to deliver fast, reliable, and scalable services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the payment display components (payment URI, address display, QR code, etc.).
• Maintain and evolve our wallet ecosystem, supporting both standard and non‑standard wallets.
• Stay up‑to‑date with wallet trends and ensure our wallet selector reflects the latest developments.
• Maintain and improve the WalletConnect stack, including MetaMask and Coinbase integrations.
• Manage React tooling for Web3 (Wagmi) and continuously enhance it.
• Understand differences across environments (website, app, affiliate widget) and act as the main contact for related teams.

Required profile

• Resides in an Americas or EU time zone.
• 2‑3+ years of professional React experience with a solid grasp of performance and third‑party tooling trade‑offs.
• Hands‑on experience with Node/TypeScript, MongoDB, MySQL, AWS, Kubernetes, or personal projects involving web3 technologies and payments.
• Active participation in the web3 community.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment while also working independently.
• Willingness to champion and implement innovative ideas in the web3 space.
