Warehouse Selector (Night Shift)

About the role

Join a passionate team at Quirch Foods as a Night Shift Warehouse Selector. You will work in a refrigerated/frozen environment, picking and preparing orders for shipment while ensuring product integrity and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Select products from pick tickets accurately in a cold‑storage warehouse.
• Operate forklift, electric pallet jack, and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Pick, palletize, wrap, and scan orders using FIFO methodology.
• Hand‑stack cases on pallets in the required sequence for shipment.
• Return undelivered or mis‑picked items to correct inventory locations.
• Transport product from storage to the shipping area within expected timeframes.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections on equipment and complete cleaning/maintenance tasks.
• Follow all safety rules and company attendance policies.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age.
• Available to work Sunday through Thursday, night shifts (6 pm–3 am or 7 pm–4 am) and extra hours as needed.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English for labels, pick lists, scanners, and instructions.
• Experience in a warehouse setting using powered equipment.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 0 °F to 36 °F.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, twist, lift (20–100 lb) and handle inventory throughout the shift.

• SQF certification (preferred)
