Warehouse Inventory Technician

About the role

The Warehouse Inventory Technician will ensure reliable material flow, accurate inventory records, and timely shipment execution at the Porto site. This role supports manufacturing continuity by receiving, storing, staging, and shipping materials and finished goods while adhering to safety, quality, and site procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks safely using a forklift or approved equipment.
• Receive, verify, and inspect incoming goods, documenting any discrepancies.
• Sort, label, store, and move materials according to warehouse layout and safety standards.
• Stage materials for production based on priorities and requirements.
• Process all SAP/ERP stock movements accurately, including receipts, transfers, issues, and returns.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock checks, and discrepancy reconciliation.
• Prepare shipment documentation, perform pre‑shipment checks, and coordinate with carriers for on‑time delivery.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, applying 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Communicate material shortages or risks to production supervisors and relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
• Logistics, warehouse, supply chain or forklift certification preferred.
• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling, and shipping.
