Waiter/Waitress – Food & Beverage Service

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Waiter/Waitress to join the Food & Beverage team at Martinhal Lisbon Chiado Family Suites. In this position you will help create memorable dining experiences for our international guests in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests following table‑service standards.
• Take orders, recommend menu items and answer guest queries.
• Operate the POS system to process orders and payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area and workstations.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a 5‑star hotel restaurant or fine‑dining establishment.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, upscale environment.
• Proficiency in a foreign language is an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of MS Office.
• Experience with POS systems.
