Waiter – Full Service at Luxury Aparthotel

About the role

Join the floor team at Locke de Santa Marta, a striking aparthotel set in a restored 19th‑century palace in the heart of Lisbon. As a Waiter you will be the face of the property, delivering warm, confident service to guests staying for breakfast, all‑day dining, cocktails, and longer stays.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome, seat and look after guests throughout their visit, remembering regulars' preferences.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and input them into the till/POS system.
• Serve food and beverages to the standards set by the Restaurant Manager.
• Maintain a clean, well‑organised section, including set‑up, clear‑down and mise en place.
• Handle payments, close tables correctly and support breakfast, room service and events as needed.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and resolve minor issues before they grow.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for hospitality and making guests feel welcome.
• Attention to detail, especially regarding allergens and food safety.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Experience with a POS/till system.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
