About the role

Ostra Uva, a seafood and wine bar in Cabanas de Tavira, is seeking a motivated and well‑presented waiter/waitress to join its team for the upcoming season. You will work alongside an experienced manager from a Michelin‑level restaurant, gaining hands‑on training and professional development from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and attend to their needs throughout the dining experience.
• Take orders, serve food and beverages, and present dishes with menu explanations.
• Maintain a clean, organized dining area and ensure efficient table turnover.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen staff and management to uphold service standards.
• Contribute to the overall atmosphere and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Fluent English (mandatory) and basic to intermediate Portuguese.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong communication skills.
• Well‑organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• No prior experience required – training will be provided.

Required skills

• English language proficiency.
• Portuguese language proficiency (basic‑intermediate).
